For best results, simply chill cherries for at least 1 hour. Fill the automatic feed tray with chilled cherries and press the plunger all the way down to extract each pit. Cherries are gently ejected through the front and the pit is deposited into the catch bin. Place a bowl under the exit shoot to catch the pitted cherries. This Cherry Pitter, also known as a cherry stoner, is great for canning, freezing, dehydrating, and baking cherry pies and tarts, making desserts and healthy snacks, smoothies, muddled drinks, craft cocktails, and more. Instructions for easy set-up are included. Hand wash in warm, soapy water, and dry thoroughly.
