Galena’s favorite honey! Coffey Bee Ranch is located in the far Northwestern corner of Illinois. Several miles south of Wisconsin and ten miles east of Iowa, they are at the southern end of an area known as the Driftless Area - with a rich topsoil that was left unscathed by glacial activity, Coffey Bee Ranch is in the heart of America's farmlands.
The bees at Coffey Bee Ranch are presented with multiple choices of native floral nectar, sweet clover, alfalfa, soybeans, basswood, and fruit trees.
They harvest a minimal amount of honey from each colony to ensure the bees have enough food to endure the long winters that is experienced in Northern Illinois.
Beekeeper Donovan Coffey personally inspects every ounce of honey that is harvested. It is extracted by hand, strained for purity, and bottled all on site - especially for you! Bees have perfected the recipe; the less you mess with it, the better it is.
Donovan never heat treats, filters, pasteurizes, or otherwise alter the natural sweet, wholesome goodness that pure honey provides.
