Golden Milk | Spicewalla
If you’ve only had golden milk as a drink, you’re missing out. Chef Meherwan’s golden milk blend is inspired by the turmeric milk his family made in India—earthy, warming, and deeply satisfying—but it’s far more versatile than tradition suggests.
How to enjoy it
Classic cup: Simmer 1–2 teaspoons of the blend with 8 ounces of your favorite milk (dairy, oat, almond, or soy) for 5 minutes. Sweeten to taste.
Morning oatmeal: Stir a teaspoon into hot oats along with a pat of butter or splash of cream for a comforting, spiced bowl.
Smoothies: Add 1 teaspoon to tropical or banana-based smoothies for warmth and depth without overpowering fruit flavors.
No‑churn ice cream: Fold 2–3 teaspoons into sweetened condensed milk before combining with whipped cream for an easy spiced ice cream.
Cocktails: Mix one teaspoon with bourbon, a squeeze of lemon, simple syrup, and ice for an unforgettable, crowd-pleasing cocktail.
The blend itself is thoughtfully balanced. Turmeric's earthiness is mellowed by sweet cinnamon and nutmeg, brightened by ginger's heat, and grounded by roasted coriander's toasted depth. Black pepper makes sure your body absorbs all the good stuff. It's wellness you can actually taste, and it's delicious!
Ingredients: Turmeric, Cinnamon, Ginger, Black pepper, Nutmeg, Coriander
2.9 ounces in recyclable tin.
